Time wouldn't wait for you to realize I was trying to be your one and only

But it surly revealed its self to me

while you were looking for confirmation between legs and faces

Time ticked and ticked, but I ignored all the rings

Generously I stayed at halts cause like you said time will always tell

Time showed me who you could've of been and the man you chose to be now

Telling me what you could do thinking it will make me stay

See time will always run its course and I didn't need a title to see the way

Your were lost in your own sauce

And I learned eventually this fling will fade even though I heard the 12 clock bell

Telling me time is ticking away.
